Ms. Martinez began her musical studies at the age of 6 and a year later she entered the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey where she studied violin. While pursuing her musical studies, Mtra Elidé continued her non-musical academic education by studying the international baccalaureate at UDEM and engineering in information and communications technologies with a concentration in business intelligence at Tec de Monterrey, Mty campus, graduating from the latter in 2013.

She began a degree in violin performance at UANL under the tutelage of Mtra. Lilia Naydenova in 2009, where she obtained the award for the best admission exam as part of the University Talents program.

From 2011 to 2012, Mtra Elidé went on an exchange to the University of New Mexico in the USA, where she had the opportunity to study violin with Dr. Carmelo de los Santos and conducting with Dr. Jorge Pérez-Gómez. She also founded the university's mariachi - with the support of the UNM's Centro de la Raza - which would later become an official class in the music department of the university.

In January 2014, she began her first master's degree at EGADE Business School, Master in International Business, which she completed in December 2016. During that time, she graduated from her music degree  and began working as Principal Second Violin at the Orquesta Filarmónica del Desierto de Coahuila in 2015.

In 2017, Mtra Elidé started working as a data science engineer at Cemex Global and begin her professional training in orchestral conducting while teaching music at UANL. During this time, Ms Martinez attended numerous conducting masterclasses, and conducted several orchestras such as the UANL Sinfonietta, the CM-UANL Symphony Orchestra, the NL Youth Philharmonic, among others, and trained as a cultural manager while studying her second master's degree, in Marketing, at TecMilenio, as well as a Professional Culinary Technician at IRH; and founded the NL Community Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2022, she returned to the University of New Mexico, this time to pursue a master's degree in conducting with two emphasis: orchestral and choral, in addition to her doctoral studies in musical direction at UTP online, where she is currently awaiting her dissertation defense. While living in the United States, she conducted several orchestras in Albuquerque, NM, Santa Fe, NM, and Monterrey, Mx. She also returned to the UNM mariachi and participated with Mariachi Gran Victoria in several events in different cities in New Mexico.

In the summer of 2023, she participated in the Mariachi Spectacular in Albuquerque where she auditioned for the master level, where she was selected as first violin and singer, having the opportunity to work hand in hand with Chuy Guzmán from Mariachi los Camperos, Mariachi Cobre, among many others.

Currently, Mtra Martínez is developing a project to make mariachi material available, where she seeks to academically formalize a program that supports the mariachi tradition not only in Mexico, but in the world. At the same time, she works as an expert in digital behavior analysis and seeks to continue developing as a professional orchestra director and violinist.

In addition, as of January 2025, he will be part of the prestigious orchestral conducting studio of acclaimed conductor Mark Shapiro under the Juilliard Extension program.
